Pavers flex with the ground and rarely crack; if one is ever damaged, you simply lift and replace it. Stamped concrete is a solid slab, so it can crack over time and is harder to repair invisibly, but it has no joints for weeds.

Look and design

Both offer a huge range of colors and patterns. Pavers give a premium, dimensional look and easy design flexibility. Stamped concrete can mimic stone, brick, or wood at a lower cost and gives a seamless surface.

Cost

Stamped concrete is often a bit more economical up front. Pavers usually cost more but offer easier long-term repairs and better drainage with permeable options. Proper base prep matters more than the surface choice for how long either lasts.

Which should you choose
